Welcome
The North American Association of Community & Congregational Hebrew High Schools (NAACCHHS) was established in 2006 to serve as the umbrella organization for the field of community-based supplementary Jewish secondary education. Our mission is to advocate for member schools while creating, supporting, exchanging and disseminating innovative programs, curricula, best practices and resources to enrich Jewish education in community and congregational Hebrew high schools across North America. The establishment of NAACCHHS ensures that recent advances in the field will be maintained. The network is open to Community & Congregational Hebrew High Schools (CCHHS) with formal school policies of enrollment open to all Jewish teenagers regardless of synagogue affiliation, that welcome students and faculty from a variety of Jewish denominations and beliefs, and that foster a respect for klal yisrael.
Congratulations to Susan Fischer Weis and her student Sarah Strenger from Margate, NJ; Loen Amer and her student Sarah Davis from Mt Kisco, NY; and Danielle Alexander and her student Miriam Handel from Houston, TX (Photo above). These students all won entrance into the Jewish Lens International Photo Exhibition at Beit Hatfutsot - The Museum of the Jewish Peoplehood in Tel Aviv.
